JURNAL IPTA (INDUSTRI PERJALANAN WISATA)

Jurnal IPTA (Industri Perjalanan Wisata) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal accredited by Science and Technology Index (SINTA), Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia (No. 79 / E / KPT / 2023). The journal is published twice a year, in July and December. Jurnal IPTA is published by the Department of Tours and Travel Studies, Faculty of Tourism, Udayana University, Badung, Bali. The journal has been assigned Online ISSN: 2548-7930 and Print ISSN: 2338-8633.

The journal serves as a scientific communication medium in the field of tour and travel studies. It publishes original research articles, review papers, as well as conceptual, technical, and methodological studies covering a wide range of topics, including research findings, experimental design, analytical approaches, and recent applications in tourism and travel research. The scope of the journal encompasses studies on tourists, geographical elements of tourism, and the tourism industry, with an emphasis on both theoretical development and practical implications.


MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION

Jurnal IPTA welcomes scholarly contributions from academics, researchers, practitioners, and students who have an interest in tour and travel studies. Manuscripts may be written and submitted in English or Indonesian. The editorial board encourages high-quality submissions that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and practice in tourism and travel studies. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure academic integrity and publication quality.

Volume 14 Number 1 (2026) of Jurnal IPTA (Industri Perjalanan Wisata) presents recent scholarly contributions that explore contemporary issues and emerging trends in tourism and travel studies across Indonesia. This issue features research on destination branding, tourist behaviour and motivation, destination image, visitor satisfaction, tourism infrastructure, transportation services, tourism marketing, ecotourism governance, tourism package development, sport tourism, and the influence of digital technologies on tourist engagement and travel decisions.

The published articles employ a range of research approaches, predominantly quantitative methods, to investigate diverse tourism contexts, including natural attractions, cultural and heritage tourism, culinary tourism, village tourism, halal ecotourism, and sustainable destination development. This issue also highlights the growing importance of digital transformation in tourism through studies on TikTok marketing, digital tourism marketplaces, and metaverse experiences, as well as collaborative transportation systems that support tourist mobility. Collectively, the studies presented in this volume contribute to the advancement of tourism knowledge by offering theoretical insights and practical implications for researchers, practitioners, destination managers, and policymakers in fostering innovative, competitive, and sustainable tourism development.
