Publication Fee Waiver Policy

Publication Fee Waiver Policy

Jurnal IPTA (Industri Perjalanan Wisata) is committed to promoting fair and inclusive access to scholarly publication. Under certain circumstances, the journal may grant partial or full waivers of the Article Processing Charge (APC).

1. Eligibility Criteria

  • Authors from institutions with limited research funding support.
  • Independent researchers without institutional funding.
  • Early-career researchers or postgraduate students with financial constraints.
  • Authors from regions or institutions with limited access to research funding.

2. Scope of Waiver

The waiver applies only to the Article Processing Charge (APC). It does not affect editorial decisions, peer-review outcomes, or publication standards. All manuscripts undergo the same evaluation process regardless of financial status.

3. Application Procedure

  • Submit a formal request letter addressed to the Editor-in-Chief.
  • Clearly explain the financial circumstances in detail.
  • Submit the request at the time of manuscript submission or before final acceptance.

Requests submitted after publication cannot be considered.

4. Decision Authority

All applications will be reviewed by the Editorial Board. Decisions regarding full or partial waivers are final and based on fairness and journal capacity.

5. Ethical Considerations

Waiver applications are treated confidentially and handled separately from the peer-review process. The waiver status of authors will not be publicly disclosed.
