Abstract

The increasing complexity of the digital era makes it crucial to develop dynamic museums that keep pace with technological developments. Therefore, research into the potential application of digital technology in museums is necessary. Museums are known as institutions that play a role in research, education, and enjoyment. This indicates that education plays a significant role in museum activities. Therefore, museums must continually improve their efforts to educate visitors to optimally fulfill their role. This research focuses on the aspect of visitor education because visitor education is one of the main functions and activities carried out by every museum. Museum Bali was chosen as a case study in this research because it is one of the museums with high significance in the Bali region and Indonesia. Museum Bali plays a crucial role in introducing Balinese culture and has high potential for development. The data collection methods used in this research were field observation, literature and document studies, and interviews. The data analysis method used was descriptive qualitative analysis. This research found that the Bali Museum has high potential and can be developed in terms of implementing digital technology. These various potentials can be explored and optimized by adapting multiple educational styles to provide effective and efficient learning for visitors. The research results can contribute to providing recommendations and ideas that can be used in museum advancement.
