MENIKMATI KULINER WARUNG DI BALI ALA ORANG JEPANG PENGGUNAAN KOSAKATA BAHASA INDONESIA

Abstract

Japanese tourists visiting the island of Bali during the 2024 period are included in the top ten category. Therefore, it is not surprising that there is a lot of information related to the island of Bali made in Japan related to the island of Bali. This is so that Japanese tourists visiting Indonesia do not experience confusion. This article tries to raise the theme of gastronomy, which is related to the use of Indonesian vocabulary related to the culinary information of food stalls in Bali. The data source used is the text of the food stalls culinary information written in Japanese, published by the publisher Futabasha in Japan. The method used is the observation method with note taking technique. The result obtained is that Indonesian vocabulary related to food stall culinary is written in katakana letters. The katakana letters in Japanese are used to write down vocabulary absorbed by foreign languages that are to be introduced into the Japanese language. Other findings also show that if there is a similar culinary in Japanese culture, the information in the book will first mention the culinary of the same kind so that the Japanese reader has an idea and it is easier to understand the culinary of the food stalls that is introduced. It can be concluded that the text of the food stalls culinary information made for Japanese tourists, introduces the culinary of the food stall as it is in terms of food naming, namely using the borrowing technique. In addition, the food stalls culinary chosen to be served in the information text is a culinary that has been felt to be suitable and still acceptable on the tongue of Japanese people in terms of taste.
