ANALISIS AFIKSASI BAHASA JAWA NGOKO DALAM LIRIK MUSIK SERIAL FILM “YOWIS BEN”

Abstract

This paper discusses the process of afcation in Javanese Ngoko used in the musical lyrics of the film series "Yowis Ben". This study aims to describe the form and role of affixation based on position (prefixes, suffixes, and confixes) and their functions (affixes, inflections, and derivations). The method used is qualitative descriptive with a listening and recording technique from the song lyrics available on the Spotify platform. The results of the study show that affixation not only forms verbs, possessions, and adverbs, but also reflects the rich morphology of the Javanese Ngoko language. Affixation in song lyrics is an important means of preserving culture and strengthening the linguistic identity of the Javanese people in the realm of popular entertainment. This research contributes to the development of morphological studies and the promotion of the diversity of Indonesian regional languages.
