To reveal the text, this research uses philology, namely script and language transfer, while to describe the depiction of evil characters using a linguistic approach, especially diction or word choice. The results show that the evil character named Wisuna is a cunning figure by pitting the king and his patih. Wisuna is portrayed as a character with evil character through word choices including wasis gěndhul-gěndhulik, culimud, culika, and nabok nyilih tangan. The conclusion of this research is that there is creativity of the author or writer to present evil characters through the choice and arrangement of words.
