PERAN PERILAKU PRODUKTIF KARYAWAN DALAM MEMEDIASI PENGARUH TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT TERHADAP KINERJA PERUSAHAAN AGUNG TOYOTA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh Total Quality Management (TQM) terhadap kinerja perusahaan dengan perilaku produktif karyawan sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada PT Agung Toyota Denpasar dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 137 responden menggunakan metode sampel jenuh (census method). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner dan analisis data dilakukan dengan pendekatan statistik deskriptif serta analisis inferensial menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Total Quality Management berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Total Quality Management berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku produktif karyawan. Perilaku produktif karyawan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Perilaku produktif karyawan memediasi secara parsial komplementer pengaruh Total Quality Management terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa penerapan TQM yang baik mampu meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui perilaku produktif karyawan. Implikasi teoritis dari penelitian ini mendukung konsep bahwa perilaku produktif menjadi variabel strategis dalam memperkuat pengaruh TQM terhadap pencapaian kinerja organisasi. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini dapat menjadi pertimbangan manajemen PT Agung Toyota Denpasar dalam mengembangkan program peningkatan kualitas yang terintegrasi dengan pembentukan perilaku kerja karyawan yang produktif guna meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan.
This study aims to examine the effect of Total Quality Management (TQM) on company performance with employee productive behavior as a mediating variable. This study was conducted at PT Agung Toyota Denpasar with a sample of 137 respondents using the saturated sample method (census method). Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and data analysis was carried out using a descriptive statistical approach and inferential analysis using the Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method. The results of the study indicate that Total Quality Management has a positive and significant effect on company performance. Total Quality Management has a positive and significant effect on employee productive behavior. Employee productive behavior has a positive and significant effect on company performance. Employee productive behavior partially mediates the complementary effect of Total Quality Management on company performance. These findings indicate that good TQM implementation can improve company performance directly or indirectly through employee productive behavior. The theoretical implications of this study support the concept that productive behavior is a strategic variable in strengthening the influence of TQM on achieving organizational performance. The practical implications of this study can be a consideration for the management of PT Agung Toyota Denpasar in developing a quality improvement program that is integrated with the formation of productive employee work behavior in order to improve company performance.
