Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to the Bali Journal of Otorhinolaryngology & Head-Neck Surgery and Sciences (JOOB) must be original works that have not been published elsewhere. Submitted manuscripts will be evaluated by the editorial team and reviewed by qualified peer reviewers. Each manuscript must demonstrate scientific merit and novelty consistent with the journal’s aims and scope, and must comply with the Focus and Scope as well as the Author Guidelines. The journal uses plagiarism detection software (Turnitin) to ensure the integrity of all submitted manuscripts. JOOB applies a double-blind peer review process, in which the reviewers are aware of the authors’ identities. All editorial and reviewer comments will be communicated to the authors through the editorial office.
