Plagiarism Check

E-Journal of Tourism is committed to upholding academic integrity and respecting intellectual property rights by promoting the publication of original and high-quality scholarly works. Any form of plagiarism is considered a serious violation of academic and publication ethics.

Authors submitting manuscripts to E-Journal of Tourism are therefore required to ensure that their work is original and complies with accepted ethical standards in scholarly publishing. Proper acknowledgment and citation must be provided for all ideas, data, statements, and materials derived from other sources.

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening and are checked for similarity using Turnitin or other appropriate plagiarism detection software.

Manuscripts with a similarity index below 20% may proceed to the subsequent stages of the editorial and peer-review process. Manuscripts with a similarity index of 20% or higher may be returned to the authors for revision. Authors may resubmit the manuscript after the identified similarity issues have been appropriately addressed.

Only manuscripts that meet the journal's similarity requirements and demonstrate appropriate, accurate, and relevant citation and referencing practices will be considered for publication in E-Journal of Tourism.
