About the Journal

E-journal of cultural studies (EJOCS) is an electronic journal in the field of cultural studies, published Four times a year since 2013, every February, May, August and November. Published by the Master and Doctoral Program in Cultural Studies, Udayana University, e-journals of cultural studies contain English-language scientific writings on research results, theoretical reviews or methodologies, and other case reports with an interdisciplinary approach. Cultural studies is an interdisciplinary field that discusses critically the social and political context of various cultural practices in society. The focus is deconstruction of the relationship between various cultural practices and powers that dominate or hegemony in the context of human emancipation and the development of science, technology and art (science and technology) for the welfare of society. e-journal of cultural studies has a full commitment towards the authenticity of the articles and papers published. Each the authors who submit their articles to the e-journal of cultural studies for publication must be able to prove that the work submitted is original contributions and have not been published in part or in whole on other print media. to achieve this commitment, the EJOCS provides objectively and fairly peer-review to every article submitted by blind reviewers from domestic and foreign universities.
