Perancangan lanskap berbasis budaya Lampung Pepadun, di Kampung Lestari Gedung Batin, Kabupaten Way Kanan

Abstract

Based on the Way Kanan Regency Spatial Plan (RTRW) 2011–2031, Kampung Wisata Lestari Gedung Batin in Umpu Semenguk District has been designated as a strategic socio-cultural area for preserving local cultural heritage and historical sites. The village is recognized as a cultural tourism destination, characterized by a traditional settlement with centuries-old traditional houses and its designation as a culture-based tourism village. This study aimed to (1) identify the site's potentials and constraints and (2) develop landscape design recommendations for a cultural tourism village based on Lampung Pepadun culture. A descriptive qualitative method was employed using the LaGro approach as the landscape design framework. The results showed that the village possesses significant cultural heritage resources, including traditional houses, historical artifacts, traditional arts, local culinary traditions, and a strategic riverside setting. However, the existing tourism facilities and infrastructure have not yet met the standards required to support tourism village development. Therefore, landscape design recommendations were developed in accordance with the Physical Special Allocation Fund (DAK Fisik) guidelines for tourism villages. The proposed Sekala Batin landscape design presents a landscape design recommendation for a culture-based tourism village that combines the cultural potential of the Lampung Pepadun community with tourism activities and supporting facilities.
