The transformation of vocational higher education demands industry readiness and sustainable governance. Grounded in the Ability-Motivation-Opportunity (AMO) framework, this study examines how Knowledge Management (KM) and Strategic Project Management (SPM) foster Green Human Capital (GHC) to influence the Performance of Vocational Institutions (PVI). Using a cross-sectional quantitative design, data were gathered from 100 structural officials across 38 public vocational institutions in Java, Indonesia. PLS-SEM analysis via SmartPLS 4 reveals that KM and SPM significantly influence institutional performance. Crucially, GHC serves as a complementary partial mediator, bridging governance mechanisms with sustainable outcomes. Aligning knowledge assets and project execution with green workforce development optimizes institutional transformation.
