Abstract

Feasibility Analysis of Honey Star Fruit Farming (Case Study of Sekar Sari Farmer Group, Subak Mambal, Mambal Village, Abiansemal District, Badung Regency). The development of horticultural commodities in Bali such as the example of organic honey star fruit plants in addition to supporting the government movement to preserve local fruit, can also help farmers to develop horticultural commodities especially star fruit plants which are not widely developed in Bali.        This study aims to determine the amount of honey star fruit income and determine the financial feasibility of honey star fruit farming in Sekar Sari Farmer Group. The sampling technique in this study was conducted by survey method. The analysis technique used is the analysis of R/C ratio and B/C ratio. The result showed that the average amount of income received by each farmer in honey star fruit farming which was cultivated to expand cultivation amounted to Rp. 56.224.542,00,-. The result of R/C ratio analysis is 3,03 and B/C ratio analysis is 2,03, which stated that honey star fruit in Sekar Sari Farmer Group is still feasible to run. The break event point in the BEP analysis of acceptance is Rp. 638.121,28,-, BEP production volume of 58,01 kg per unit per tree, and the value of the price BEP of Rp. 9.627,01,-. Through this research, it is expected that the farmers in Sekar Sari Farmer Group can increase their business scale and have a cash flow record in order to anticipate the occurrence of business losses.
