Businesses develop very fast, therefore companies need the ability to compete. To win the competition, companies must manage production costs. PT XYZ is a manufacturing company that produces cocoa powder. PT ZXY has planned to reduce production costs by establishing a Quality Control Circle (QCC) using the PDCA system. QCC has identified that purchasing 2 ply paper bag packaging (PB2PL) for semi-finished material packaging is the cause of inefficient production costs. QCC has conducted efficiency experiments with reused PB2PL. The results of the analysis have shown the efficiency of using 9818 pcs to 3500 pcs per month. Reusing PB2PL has resulted in cost efficiency per month of Rp. 47,859,052 (first reuse), Rp. 38,708,676 (second reuse), and Rp. 29,558,300 (third reuse). QCC implemented the PB2PL reuse strategy for two months, has obtained a total cost efficiency of Rp. 97,891,759. The PB2PL reuse strategy requires an SOP that can be used as a standard reference for the next use of PB2PL.
