Neem leaf extract has antioxidant activity. The extraction method affects antioxidant activity and can affect compounds that act as antioxidants such as flavonoids and phenols. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of extraction methods and size reduction on the antioxidant activity of neem leaf extract. This study used a non-factorial Complete Randomized Design (RAL) method with the treatment of the uncleasan extraction method by boiling with size reduction variations (blender and sprouting) and the unclean method by microwave with size reduction variations (blender and thumping). The results showed that the most amendments were obtained in the preliminary treatment by pounding and continued with heating using a microwave with an amendment yield of 62.80%. All treatments on phytochemical tests contain compounds of saponins, triterpenoids, steroids and tannins. The results showed that the differences in extraction treatment methods had a very noticeable effect on the antioxidant content produced from neem leaf extract. The longer the heat given to neem leaf extract, the smaller the antioxidants produced. The best extraction method is to use the growing method which is continued by heating using microwaves with an antioxidant value of 46.781%
