Coffee is a product that generates foreign exchange for the country and has essential benefits in
developing the agriculture-plantation industry in Indonesia. The resistance of processed coffee
products to dynamic changes in coffee prices internationally and nationally makes the process
necessary. The purpose of this study is to diversify the utilization of coffee waste for products that have
added value. This study uses a variety of research studies by conducting comprehensive research on
various sources with research objectives. The type of product that can obtain includes biogas raw
materials, biodiesel raw materials, bioethanol raw materials, beverage raw materials, organic
compost, planting media, animal feed (chicken), and so on. Among the various technologies displayed,
the product can be implemented in the field, which is used with scales on the priority of functions and
production. However, some of these technologies need to be discussed further, especially in the study
in laboratory aspect, to get the maximum state in the process and its application if implemented into a
more massive and more significant industrial cluster.
